Good news for HTC One X user! HTC started the rollout of
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates across the world claiming the Jelly been update
is now live and available for download.
HTC One X users that have yet to be notified on the
update can manually check for it by going to Menu> Setting> About>
Software Updates> Scheduled Check. Aside from bringing the HTC One X phone’s
software update to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, it also brings the new HTC Sense
4+ user interface. Which is faster, with speedier switches of orientation from
portrait to landscape and it also be able to switch between apps faster.
It also brings Google’s improved voice search, and Google
Now, which provides you with information as and when you need it, based on your
location, appointments and schedules. Face unlock is more accurate than in previous
versions, and you can swipe from the camera viewfinder to see your photos for review.
Camera user interface is also enhanced to offer better performance
and there’s a new landing page and Event/Map view in Gallery and HTC also included
some power management improvements as well.
According to HTC, their goals is to make sure that
provides an improved customer experience and that means a high standard of
quality for hardware compatibility, adapting device or carrier specific customizations,
testing by HTC and partners, addressing device hardware constraints and many
other factors.
